Voice Services
Fluency’s IP network has been built from the ground-up to deliver highly reliable Voice services. Our engineering staff have a combined 20 years of experience with VoIP and other legacy telecoms, and intimately know what works and what doesn’t.
In the age of ‘convergence’, and ‘cloud computing’, Voice is just another service to become less expensive, more flexible and easier to maintain by utilising a good-quality IP connection. The range of services Fluency provide are simple, yet powerful; covering all manor of business telecoms requirements.
SIP Trunking
Our SIP Trunking service is for businesses that like to maintain their own PBX infrastructure. Most vendors of telecoms equipment will support the SIP protocol natively, allowing you to take advantage of much more competitive calling charges. For older ISDN-only equipment, a CPE can be installed to present ‘virtual’ ISDN in your office.
Fluency operate a strict policy that all on-net calls (calls within the Fluency network) will always be completely free. This means that SIP Trunking can be used at many different sites as a replacement to ISDN, facilitating free inter-site calls.
As an additional bonus, if you are moving office, you can port your existing number to Fluency and we can direct traffic to your new office via SIP (whether in the same City, or a completely different country). Traditional fixed-line operators often restrict where a number can be used – even moving from one side of town to the other.
Hosted PBX
For businesses with small offices or geographically diverse premises, Fluency’s Hosted PBX service provides corporate-grade features, without the cost of dedicated equipment at each site. We supply high-quality Snom handsets for each user, which connect directly to your normal IT network infrastructure. The Voice traffic reaches our Hosted PBX service over your own broadband, or a Fluency EFM, Ethernet or VPLS connection.
Each Hosted PBX Extension is allocated a DDI number with any dialling prefix of your choice, and comes with all the features you would expect of a modern PBX: voicemail to email, 3-way conferencing, custom hold music, call recording, call forwarding and much more. For your ‘main’ office number (or potentially several ‘main’ departmental numbers), we give you the ability to have your inbound calls routed however suits your business. This includes simultaneous ring-groups, queue services, custom caller option menus (IVRs) as well as the ability to change the behaviour automatically based on time-of-day.

Custom Services
Fluency offer a range of custom services for businesses needing a greater level of customisation to accommodate their telecoms requirements. Fluency have a great deal of experience building complex IVR (Interactive Voice Response) services, and custom inbound/outbound call reporting services.
Some examples of previous projects include:
- Custom CRM and database popups; allowing customer-facing staff to be ahead-of-the-game when answering calls.
- Call stats leader-board; showing staff how many calls they have answered versus their colleagues brings a new incentive to answering calls quickly.
- Analysis on your regular callers, to determine the most valuable or most high maintenance clients.
